The fire hose is a high-pressure hose that carries water or other fire retardant to a fire to extinguish it. Outdoors, it attaches either to a fire engine or a fire hydrant. Indoors, it can permanently attach to a building’s standpipe or plumbing system. There are several types of Hose designed specifically for the fire service. Those designed to operate under positive pressure are called discharge hoses. They include attach hose, supply hose, relay hose, forestry hose, and booster hose. Those designed to operate under negative pressure are called suction hoses.
The single jacket fire hose consists of 100% polyster plain-woven synthetic and natural rubber linings. The fire hose has very good resistance to ageing and abrasion. The light fire hose is suitable for normal situation. Fire Hoses are supplied in different sizes, length and assemblies, and comply with both international and local standards.
